Well it has been a long time coming and the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2014 has finally arrived and here in Las Vegas there is a different kind of energy again. While Vegas itself always has its own energy, its like a show that has been put on especially for those visiting, the CES 2014 is all about new things and such that are coming in the new year. The latest and greatest is always more easily researched by going to the right shops or the right sites. The CES though is all about the strategies of the 3,000 businesses that are being represented this time around.
Home connectivity is already a major buzz around the traps. It seems every tech business is going to either offer something to connect your home devices (like Samsung announced today on Sunday) ot they will offer some device that can be connected. The days of greater automation, being connected to everything in your house is literally just around the corner. Soon the ability to interact with everything (see some of my other presentations around the traps on the Internet of Everything) in and around your home and in most cases you will not need to be there.
I’ll certainly be writing about every experience, including some of the ones that the international motoring bodies are all talking about and sharing the insights, ideas and news that I can find.
