I got asked to pull together a presentation on the use of two tools that we are utilising. The first is for Social Listening, and for this we use Radian6. I have found that this tool has worked very well and is the most customisable tool for analysing so many aspects of your social media presence for many different purposes:
- Marketing – brand analysis, brand engagement and campaign analysis
- Product knowledge – insights into your brand and the products that your customers are using
- Public Affairs – Listening to what is being said about the key issues that your organisation faces.
My team is also using the Hootsuite product for brand engagement. This is another great tool for actually engaging your customers, creating discussions and responding. However, I have found that its value is also in the ability to establish governance around your social media channels. The auto scheduling it really a fantastic tools as well, and I am sure its tools like these that the marketing campaigns will see some great value in.
